Centre for Combating Tobacco (CCT) is the Sri Lankan WHO sanctioned tobacco observatory hosted by the Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo.

The main mandate of the CCT is to monitor tobacco industry activities and interference in public health and implementation of WHO-FCTC Article 5.3 in Sri Lanka and the region.
CCT is powered by Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) Secretariat and the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). Technical assistance is provided by the Tobacco Control Research Group, University of Bath and the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California San Francisco.
The CCT online LMS is a joint project by CCT and WHO country office of Sri Lanka. The main intention of this platform is to create an online learning environment for the participants involve in tobacco control.
